About Sky-high Initiative

Sky-high initiative is a Non Governmental organisation in Tanzania established to invest in environmental protection, fighting community poverty and creating equality through empowering vulnerable groups. The focus is for the groups of children, youth, women, elderly and the disabled. Founded in June 2018 by the five founding members, Sky-high Initiative is centred at serving the needy people from the community in Tanzania Mainland. The efforts of Sky-high Initiative is to strategically serve the community in the ranges of Education, Health, social justice, Youth and Women empowerment, wash and Environmental conservation. Sky-high Initiative will remain committed to the bottom-up and human rights-based approach to development. The Organisation works closely with communities and the administrative authorities to directly influence development processes at the national level.

We are focused at visualizing a poverty-free society, by bringing communities together in achieving social and economic empowerment of communities with more emphasizes to special groups of Children, Girls, and Women, disabled and elderly.

We envision a better Tanzanian Community where eradicating Environmental problems and archiving  Social Economic development allows community Empowerment and Development.

Theme

We believe that the life of living organisms is much dependent on green plants. It is the green plants that provide us with food while the production of food crops will depend on the nature of rain that in turn depend on the green vegetation. It is for this reason, we give support to environmental conservation and protection. The environment is one of our key element to work on in achieving sustainable social and economic development of communities. We, therefore, value green plants as the lungs of a living organisms life. Social and Economic development can be archived if there is life.
